What is scoria Loose

scoria Loose, rubbly, basaltic ejecta that accumulate around eruptive volcanic vents (or similar type to Stromboli), even¬tually building up as a scoria cone, the height of which may range from a few tens of metres to up to 300 m, with a slope determined by the angle of repose of the loose material.
